Just curious, I haven't seen pappy on these boards in a while. He used to be very active here. I hope nothing has happened to him, does anybody know where he went?

Unfortunately, James "Pappy" Lewis dies from a heart attack some time ago.

His turkey calls are full of turkey and will be talking in the spring woods again soon.

I just logged on for the first time in quite a while.  The first thing I did was search for Pappy.  I was afraid something like this had happened.  Glad I got a couple of his calls.  Prayers offered for his family.

I believe Mr  Lewis pasted away 2/3 years ago. I sure miss talking with him..

I miss Pappy , I learned a few things from him and was greatful for it -he helped the site out in more ways then members could understand over the years , and he did enjoy all the friendships made here with you guys

Pappy was a good guy and made a heck of a nice trumpet and tube call. I used my Trumpet today and thought about him and a few of the conversations we had about turkeys.
