So, March 9th, little over two weeks ago here on OG I purchased several really nice calls from an awesome fellow user here by the screen name of NeverRoosting.

Fast forward to the opening week of season... I carried several different calls with me the past 5 sits and while I got response and saw nice gobblers, it wasn't until I took the GS1 in which I could close the deal the way turkey huntin should be done. Coincidence? Call? Who cares. Time to carry a different one now.

The Purpleheart/Crystal GS1 by Andy Kaiser is not only a beautiful call, it must work well Typical hunting story... Set up, daylight, gobbled, strutted, spit and drummed all the way in. That single Avian turned out to be a heartbreaker, the Hevi 7s though, a head breaker.
