Has anyone tried the Enticer Wet-one Slate? I am getting ready to purchase a enticer pot call so help me out.

I have no experience with aluminum and very very little with glass so I was hoping to go with slate.

Thanks

If you already have a slate.... I would go with his aluminum or glass . They both play real easy and would give you something different. I have the Silver thunder extreme ( aluminum) and sidekick glass- both are in Corian pots and waterproof.

Agree wholeheartedly! I had never used a pot of any kind when I bought Al's Silver Thunder for an all weather pot. No problem. Condition with some green Scotchbrite. The corian backside of the pot, conditioned with the same green pads, will give you great soft yelps, clicks and purrs. Like two calls in one IMO.

Well fellers, I am $68.05 poorer thanks to you guys, just kidding, lol. It may be more than I "should" spend considering that's quite a bit to me.... I bought the silver thunder extreme aluminum and another striker with it. Run turkey's run....

I bought the Tru-Tone - Wet Tech in Corian pot and it came with waterproof and purpleheart striker. It's fine for waterproof pot and it will make one fine Jake yelp  dry ...you can check them out at ..www.tru-tonecalls.com

Glad to have helped lighten your wallet!!???? Think you'll be pleased with the call. You absolutely do not have to worry about the damp!

That will be good. I feel like I might have used pot calls more instead of relying on mouth/box calls if I was more comfortable with the pot call and was not worried about moisture.

I've got Al's Wet Slate and its a heck of a call, wet or dry. It's got some awesome jake/gobbler stuff in it as well.

Lucky Goose

I just received his power slate and extreme thunder aluminum.  They are both great.  Calling on the back side of that corian pot is unreal.  I wish I would have found these calls sooner.

Call Mr. Holbert, he's a great and will gladly talk to you about his calls and strikers or anything else turkey.
Highly recommend!

Httt, if you haven't already , need to get a wet weather striker to go with the Silver Thunder. Al with Enticer makes a good one, so does Mike Yingling.

Ive got one of Al's carbon tipped strikers and i am not a fan of it.  it does work, but the one Mike Yingling makes is awesome.

I have both as well and for some reason I get a better sound, at least IMO, with Al`s. Now, that shouldn`t be construed as a criticism of Mike`s striker or his workmanship. Because his carbon fiber striker has so many fans, I`m pretty doggone sure the issue is with me!!

Al has also just came out with another wet weather striker.... I believe it is called "yellow jacket striker". I am gonna check it out at the outdoor show tomorrow

I did buy a wet striker. Hopefully they will be here in 2 or 3 days. :)
