One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Great picture...

Having experimented with photography, I have found it is frequently if not generally more difficult to get a good shot with a camera than with a gun....  Great lighting and backdrop, and perfect pose for the bird.  I'd bet dollars to donuts it would have been easier to get a clean shot with a shotgun than the picture you captured there!
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

Maybe a lot of times, but don't forget photography nuts are the same kind of crazy that turkey hunters are.  A 300 or 400mm f 2.8L is with a 1.4x, 5dIII, and a small crop and you could shoot him from 200 yards.

Nice pic! If he try's to spread that fan any further he will be popping some feathers
