I dont remember the wood I think its Kingwood maybe it's a really cool grain. Titanium over Glass. I'm partial to my Ebony Titanium over Slate.

Just bought one last month in Mexican Bocote titanium has a real neat sound and John is an artist.

Never liked metal surfaces but aluminums. But his ebony titanium over slate in a smaller pot he nailed. Others I'm not a fan of. But his wood working skills are straight ART
