I set a benelli 20 ga this past for my wife. I took a bird with it opening week and I shot it fine. Problem is she has missed twice this week and connected with her old Mossy 935 this morning. She has had trouble with targets also with the 20. I've got a double bead on it , the mossy has tru glo sights. She says she can't see the beads lined up good enough. So has anybody put a scope on a benelli M1. What mounts will fit. Any other advice would be appreciated. She wants to shoot the gun but wants some confidence.

I have a Benelli M1 20ga as well.  It patterns TSS very well.  The problem is if you don't have your head down on the stock to line up you are going to miss it shoots so tight.  I've missed two turkeys as well.  I tried to find some Tru Glow sites to bolt to the vent rib with no luck.  I finally gave up.  Drilling and tapping the receiver to mount a scope or red dot isn't an option for me as I use this gun duck/dove/quail/phesant hunting too much for that.

So with that I decided to make a dedicated turkey gun out of an 870 20ga.  I'm curious to see if you come up with an option that I never found not requiring drilling and tapping the receiver.

Let the little twenty EAT!!!!

This is a dedicated turkey gun. She prefers the tru glo type sights and may end up exploring that option. She's a pretty seasoned hunter and hasn't missed a bird in years so I think she's keeping her head down and just has problems with the beads. The mossy has tru glos on it. I'll keep up the search and let you know. I visited T's sight and they have a new universal sight out since  I last looked.

I've had the same problems with my M1. I couldn't get the POA and the POI to align so I just set up an 870 20 ga. for my wife...
