Does anyone think dipping a gun makes it any heavier. I sent an 870 youth and got it dipped a few years ago and it just seems to feel different. Could just be my imagination. I have a new CVA 20 and cant decide whether to paint it myself or have it dipped.

If the dipping film made the gun noticeably heavier something is seriously wrong lol.

This is what I was thinking but I have never held one that has been dipped but seeing many videos of it getting done it is mighty thin so I would not think it would.

like I said it could just be my imagination but it does feel a little heavier. I didn't weigh it before I sent it off.
