We decided to display our cast iron instead of struggling to get it out from the lower cabinets or oven. Of course it was the wife's idea and my labor.

That's a cast iron holder for stick matches.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
