Guys,
I'm testing some loads out of 2 new chokes for my 11-87  SPS-T (3").
Can I shoot Rem Duplex 4x6 loads out of a Jellyhead .660 constriction? Or is it too tight for the 4's. I'll also be testing out a PG .670 with HEVI 13 3-2-6, Rem HD 6's, Rem Duplex loads.

I bought some of them loads to test years ago when they first came out.  They ddin't pattern all that well from what I seen.  You can shoot them out of a .660, but it's probably going to be tight for the 4's.  Probably do better with a .675 or .680.

I shot those several years ago and probably still have some around. I shot them through some tighter chokes and some more open but like the others have said, I just never saw good patterns with them regardless of the choke I used. They will certainly kill turkeys but won't measure up to the standards we look for today.

Thanks,

I'd expect a very good pattern at 30-35 Yards with the 4x6.  I shot a lot of those in the past, and I still have about 24 of them in storage.  At 30 yards, the 4's were tight and centered in the pattern.  The 6's opened up more.  The center of the pattern was bad news at 30 yards because of the 4's.  The 40 yard numbers aren't likely to be very high.

Thanks for all the opinions. I'll give them a shot and see what happens. Yeah, they will probably do better out of the Pure Gold being thats it's more open.

That shell likes the 665 in the Renington guns for me. I originally shot it in a Hastings and the Remington SF (I think) lead only chokes.
