I agree with a lot of the scenarios already stated, but I haven't seen anyone say anything about runners. Those old birds that gobble their hind end off and get you to come to them and then take off on a thousand acre chase, hesitating just long enough in spots for you to believe he may come to you. Then take off on the move again.

Stubborn gobblers that won't play nice!

Big Jeremy

Most frustrating for me is when I am set up and working a gobbler on public land, and some bumbling idiot comes walking in like turkeys can't see him, or something.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

When a bird went quiet and all that coffee you drank is finally reminding you why you shouldn't drink so much. Do you move or wait because he hasn't gobbled for a while

Caspar

when your working a bird and some idiot decides to walk past you and setup 50 yards in front of you and start calling as if your not even there. or the bigger idiot that almost shoots you and your hen decoy because he "thought that the turkey making all the noise was a gobbler"
