Just curious why you specified 2018. Is his slate or design different?

Eddie got slammed with orders just like all the other great call makers. He ran way behind schedule and is finally catching up. I ordered mine in June and received it a few weeks ago. It was WELL worth the wait. Perfect in every way.

I know a guy who makes a slate call that's probably just as good as an Eddie Wynne. I think he uses a quarter sawn white oak pot though!!!

Thanks Doug your way to kind. Although that Whiteoak slate call of mine was successful in Texas. I also had two other birds other than the one I killed with the call that just tore it up. I will be taking it out again tomorrow along with " Her Majesty." Stay tuned

One of my favorite calls and I have a pile. Won't find a better slate in my opinion.

I may be crazy but I hate to jack a thread but it's like he uses very good grey slate it's very slick like his persimmon striker runs like silk on it. Runs smoother then any grey slate I have.
