I shot a real nice do during our Minnesota Bow season and I decided to make a new Lakota/ plains style quiver and making it with her hide. I learned how to brain tan and smoke her hide. I learned a lot along the way from  tanning to working with buckskin. I made mistake along they way, but over all I'm pleased with it and cant wait to use it during turkey season. This is a hunting quiver so there no decoration, the next one I'm going to add beads to it. The below was the process I went through for this project.

Looks real nice.
That style of quiver is the best thing for hunting in my opinion

They really are, I hate having my quiver attached to my bow.

That's nice.  Brain tanning and smoking, now that's Lakota style.  Congrats and some fine work.
