I have a farm I hunted last year and plan to hunt this year and have already spotted up one that wants a ride in the truck.  I got a message relayed through my MIL that another farm they own has opened up for opening morning.  This farm has 2 nice 2 yo that are perfect for my son to kill.  They were traveling with 3 hens, small and looked like jennys, so there may actually be a bigger one in there.  I wasn't going to be able to hunt this area until the 6th day of the season and was really saving it for my son.

Now if he will only agree to miss school, we can get up there opening morning. :you_rock:  He is actually refusing to miss school to hunt, at this point.  We'll see how it goes next week when dad is back from being gone for a week in SD.  Hopefully, this will sway him to want to hunt opening morning.  If not, then I have my eye on an old fellar that I am going to get after.

In two days, everything can change.  Roost them the night before.

I'm with Gobble! on this one.  I always had the fever when hunting season rolled around.  Hopefully he will come to his senses.

I would think my son was extremely sick if he did want to go to school over hunting.....or anything else for that matter.
