I was a sneaking down and old logging road when a turkey gobbles in front of me and sounded very close. But, i had on the Howard Leight hearing aides, I took them off and he didn't gobble, put them on and he'd gobble. Finally i took them off and I heard a bird more distant in the same direction or the same bird without the aids. I stayed put because i wasn't sure if there were two birds. After about 20 minutes a bird was sneaking past on my left at about 25 yds. either looking for me or heading to a fellow gobbler. Either way, he won't be looking any longer. Kinda cool this AM and got windy on my walk out.
