I have seen some outrageous claims on spur length that were laughable.  Your claim is not one of those.  What I am looking at looks to be legit 1.5.

ill second 1 3/8. but if you follow the outside curve youll probably pick up 1/16. 1 7/16 spurs are still dang big spurs.
