As I prepare for the season I am realizing there are only a few trumpets I will hunt with. They are not any better than any of these, they just fit my personal style best. Any of these may work better for someone else. These are all very fine trumpets by very fine makers.

I did. Blew till I was ready to pass out on several occasions then just gave up.

No joke, I did that years ago with a primos wingbone not knowing how they worked. Gave it to a guy and watched him run it like no tomorrow. He offered to pay me retail on it but I said "you can run it, I can't. It's all yours."
