I was just wondering when the gobblers get hened up and all is quiet what do you do?   I am the type of hunter that gets to the spot early waits for the show to begin.  9 times out of 10 the hens win.  I was wondering what calls do you make and how often if the birds go the other way?  Also how long do you usually stay put in one spot to wait for him to show back up?  This past Saturday I had the gobbler coming and of course the hen cut in to break the game plan.  I stayed put for about 3 hours before I decided to move in a little closer only to be busted when I got up. They were about 75 yards behind me and never heard them make a sound.  >:(

Next time sleep in until mid morning then go. The gobbler ought to be done with the hens then and start to get lonely. Or if they are henned up go somewhere else until later in the morning then come back.
