Ticks seem pretty bad here in the Upstate of South Carolina. We bought some repellent but need to get some to treat our clothes. I may be able to do that today.

Thanks,
Clark

I have to treat my clothes here soon. I've only seen a tick or two this year and I think they both were while doing landscaping work.

They are bad for sure this year. I went after work the other day to check some birds in one spot, wasn't out of the truck 20 minutes and came back covered in them things.

Clothes have been sprayed, vest is this afternoon!

turkeyfoot

gonna spray mine this weekend if can get away from some this rain so they can dry

bbcoach

Spray ALL my clothes and gear with permethrin before the season starts and again about 1/2 way through.  No problems!

HFultzjr

I've already sprayed my "Scouting Stuff" for pre-season scouting.
I'll spray again just before season opener.
Maybe once again, before end of season.
I spray EVEYTHING. I hate those critters and they seem to love me.

TRG3

If the wind will ever die down, I'll spray and let line dry 2-3 sets of outer hunting clothes (sock tops, bibs, shirts, leafy camo, hat, ground lounger, etc.) with permethrin, mixed 1.5 ounces/1 gallon of water. I've done this for 6-7 seasons and have found only 2-3 tiny ticks total in that time. Our first season, which comes in on April 3rd in Southern Illinois, is only 5 days in length, so that should get me by.
