Mississippi youth season opening day was a good one!

We had a great hunt. Turkey gobbled good. This Turkey gobbled on the roost 5 or 6 time and hit the ground. We could tell he was coming but he was on Turkey time(lol). He gobbled probably a half  dozen times but hung up at about 100 yds. Keep in mind that my son had takin off from school for a couple hours  before he had to go back for 9 week test so we where limited on time. As we where running out of time before we had to leave  I was calling very little but I decided that in had to happen pretty quick so I started purring aggressively. Well it worked. He hit the field and once he seen Humberto( Avian strutter) he came on in to 30 yds where  the benelii 20 gauge and nitro shells melted him! I think it was one of best hunts!
