Snake boots question

In your opinion, what's the best truly waterproof snake boots? I've got a pair of rockys that I love, but by the end of last season I couldn't walk through dew covered grass without my feet getting soaked. Any and all input is appreciated!

Just flex seal them and your ready for another season..Flex seal in a can. Great stuff....

I wear Russell Turkey Hunter Lites. I am on the second pair -current pair was bought in 2005. They are as waterproof as an all leather boot can be. The key is this - treat them twice a year with Obenauf's LP ..

If they get soaked, dry overnight on a Peet's boot dryer. I hunt quite a bit in the swamps of the SC LowCountry. The initial purchase price appears steep, but at almost 12 years in, I am at less than $50 a year amortized for a pair of CUSTOM made in the USA boots that were made to measurements of my feet- not some generic mold. Money well spent - never skimp on footwear or optics.   Learn it, live it.

I have been struck twice by vipers and have logged god knows how many miles - my Russell's have never disappointed me.

"Best truly waterproof" would probably be one of the various rubber snake boots. Bogs, muck, lacrosse all make rubber snake boots.

Last season I bought a pair of the turtleskin snake gaiters there light weight and cover up to knee. They can be worn over rubber boots in the swamp or any other boot when hunting dry areas. I have found snake boots to be bulky and uncomfortable.

I have never had a pair of traditional snake boots that didn't leak in the first few month. And I have had pretty much every brand.  The only exception is rubber snake boots.

I swear by the Lacrosse Alpha Mudlite snake boots. I picked mine up for around $150. Also, get them a size larger than you wear.
