I got in on the Kansas party late. It was pretty good 5 years ago but it is in decline.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Since I don't get to go back to Kansas anymore I would go west of Salina Ks and knock on doors.

maybe its not what it once was like everything, however I went 2 years ago and had an awesome hunt and tagged out fast! Ill be the "public land ruiner" again and send you a pm later! However depending on where youy coming from Oklahoma is also good if youd rather hit that I can help you also.

This is good advice. If you have rain some of those dirt roads can be treacherous. Believe me I know!

Road conditions will dictate how many spots you can actually get to if it's been raining any at all.
Hit as many as you can, pressure is high. Didn't kill my first gobbler last year til we got to the 12th spot we tried. Good optics and gasoline.....
If I had a dollar for every gobbler I thought I fooled I'd be well off!
