I have some nice trumpets, experimented with them for years off and on.

I just picked up a wingbone that Mr Sharp made. I have to say it's the easiest call of this type, trumpet or wingbone, I've ever ran. The tone is really nice.

I have to agree with his reply above.

I'll add a good quality call that's highly recommended makes a big difference too.

I have no idea, never have used a trumpet before. I learned how to use a wingbone and it is my favorite type of call now. I've heard a couple bamboo calls and even whittled my own out of river cane (because I left my wingbone at the truck) but I don't like the sound produced by the cane as much as the wingbone. The bones make the best sound to me. But then again I have not tried any trumpet calls, maybe they sound better, no idea.
