Hey Fellas, I asked this on the wrong sub forum previously and figured I would try here. My wife got me a small box call "kit" for my b-day and she had the neighbor personalize it by laser engraving it. I am getting ready to put it together and would like to know what I should use to stain it and or seal the wood. And should I do that before I glue it together? I had got a few helpful pm's from some members previously but I'm still a little confused to what to use. Not looking for anyone's trade secrets, just a few tips on how to do it right. Thanks for any advice you all can send my way.

SS Calls

I use deft semi gloss spray lacquer. I would glue it up first, sand the call, and apply three to four coats of spray.. Sanding with 400 grit between coats.
