Got started on a reservation in March, took 4 in 4 days
Was able to fill my 1st season WI tag opening morning on this fine gobbler
Back to NE for a couple state land tags filled them in an afternoon

Some Goulds action in Sonora Mexico
Back in WI where I filled my 2 5th season tags in two mornings
Then was able to fill my 2 6th season tags, bringing my season total to 14.
Very nice late afternoon gobbler I called in for my wife in WI
Happened to be driving by, so had to stop!
Big boy I come across in WI
Hate finding this scene

Bird I called in for a buddy
Another bird for a buddy
Trail cam pic in Sonora Mexico. One of the guides had an encounter with him
2 graves I come across in the middle of nowhere, the tall one had a death date of 1821

Great season overall, traveled a lot of miles made some great memories and was able to complete two Royal Slams. Looking forward to next springs adventures already and completing my world slams.

Dam, you've been covering some serious ground.  Congrats on an awesome season!
Can't kill'em from the couch!!!!

You had another great season Neal and I congratulate you on the Royal Slam as well.  You will enjoy the Ocellated hunt as well next year.  I want to return someday to do both the Ocellated and Gould's again but the pricing is getting ridiculous.
Again great pictures and thanks for sharing the season...  :icon_thumright:

Nice work, congrats, and thanks for sharing.

If I had saved all the money I spent on hunting, I'd spend it on hunting.

Neal - was that Tasso grave site in OK by any chance?  There is an 'Elliot (missing the second t) C. Tasso Jr listed as whereabouts unknown on a list of  the Cheyenne Arapaho.

Wonder if it isn't the same guy - Arapaho used to be around in CO, KS, NE and WY.

By the way - great year - congrats!
