I'm still alive!

Hey guys, long time no see!
Passed up going out on opening morning here in Va, too cold & windy for this old man! I figured once that front moved out it should be some good hunting...and good it was. Little brother and I got set up early. Heard some roost gobbling then all was quiet for 2 hours or more. At 8:30 a bird announced himself. We figured he was 400-500 yards away so I quickly let him know where we were.
Long story short, much like the hunt, we soon had 3 birds strutting in the dekes. These birds covered some ground in a hurry, cutting off every note from my tube call . After letting little bro get some video I waited for birds to separate for a clean shot and at 8:42 I had one flopping.
Couldn't ask for a better first hunt! Nice 3 year old, sorry didn't get spur pics and I didn't even measure the beard...I am old!
Here's a pic with the bird resting on what's left of our old blind.
Little Brownie pill can, maybe my new favorite call, the birds just ate it up!

Glad to see you around again! Congratulations! I need to get one of those killers from you.
