Rosebud, SD

Anyone ever been to Rosebud on the indian reservation for a merriam hunt? Any input will be appreciated.

I hunted the Rosebud a couple years in a row about 10 years ago.  There were lots of turkeys in most of the areas we went.  Most of them had nice white tips.  There were a few that we took that were definitely hybrid though.  Great place to hunt.   On the East and North sides of the reservations there were turkeys in every draw. The draws had a few cottonwoods scattered throughout them and this made finding roost areas quite easy. 

I think it was the west side that had the pine forest areas.  These also had a decent amount of turks.
