Slow start this year

I hunt primarily public land in Mississippi and it has been as slow as I've ever seen here. I managed to finally hear a bird last week and there were three trucks parks within a quarter mile of him. Finally this morning I was able to get on one who wanted to play. I sure do love killing public land birds.
