Tomorrow is the Virginia youth day and im taking my 12 year old brother to the woods to kill him a gobbler. Today me and him went scouting and we got him roosted! Got 2 hens and 2 gobblers up the tree. Man im so excited! If I get my little brother a turkey I will be so tickled! Hes shooting my Mossy 535 and we shot a little this morning and he can't shoot 3 1/2s so I put some 3 inches in and he said it was better. Im making sure hes got earplugs though. I bought him a full camo outfit at Gander Mountain today. I think the only problem that will happen is getting him up in the morning.
I had to teach him a little bit about the movement thing. I told him if he moves anytime when the turkeys in sight then that turkeys gone. He's ready. If he kills one I dont know who will be more excited! Good luck to all the boys and girls going out tomorrow also.
