Embarrassing Moments

besides missing birds way too many times with a shotgun, one thing that still bothers me is when I first carried the bow to public land to try and fill my last tag one spring. I managed to call one right up to 20 yards, while sitting behind a big limestone boulder. I got drawn back and held the pin on the bird, released and SMACK the arrow bounced off the rock I was sitting behind. Bird did the funny turkey run away from me while I sat there realizing what happened.
