Lonnie Mabry.  Walnut, chestnut, or Cedar for me. I'm favoring a yellow heart, persimmon, or rosewood striker.

Mine is a Bill Lyman Chestnut slate running it with one of his Persimmon strikers.

Great choice!

Cody World Class Slate and a light hickory striker, this call has ended more turkeys in the last 20 years than anything!

By far, jimmy Shaffer. Best one I've ever owned. It was out of his personal collection. Mind blower.

That's usually the good ones.

Going back a few years but I run a Bruce Worth American Friction Slate.  Striker is long gone but a hickory stick does the trick.  Sweet talker.
