Turpin style boxes gobble the best IMO. It's a little tricky the way I do it but when you learn it works very well.

Any particular call maker that y'all recommend?

This past summer Marlin Watkins made me a yellowheart over wormy butternut in a cost style not his fiddle design. Gobbles great but makes the best sounding jake Yelp out of all my boxes. Sounds good when I jake Yelp and work it into a short gobble. I think it's the wood choice. I can gobble with all my boxes but that yellowheart and butternut just sound like an ole horse Yelp you here when you get those gobblers goin!

West Augusta

Al and Josh make a good gobble box.

To my ears it is hard to beat the gobble made with a tube call.

YouTube David Halloran, listen to him run his Purple Heart over cedar.

Great call, excellent gobble

I too have a Ben Lee gobble box, very nice gobble indeed.
