Nice Story-- the town  and church remind me of the small town  my inlaws lived--during the past 5-6 years when they both became ill, my wife and I gave up our weekends to help them from Friday-Sunday.( 2 hour ride from our house)
I have no regrets and picked  up my turkey hunting addiction  during that time. Our small Baptist Church  reminds me of that. I can leave the big city I live in and 2 hours later the first 3 guys I meet are Raylin, Cooter and Bubba.

Great read!
As for the hog lips...heck I'll try anything once...well almost anything.

I knew I was in for a treat when I saw the thread!  Great stuff, as always, Tom!  Sounds like you, Joe, and the crew had a great time.

I love the story catdaddy.  It's been a long time and I've missed your stories.

I had a little trouble reading it because Wichita State and Alabama are playing for NIT Championship.
