Here are some pics of the call I got from Yelper on here that was made by Lonnie Mabry. Definitely another old school callmaker who does them by hand. Thanks again Terry. A sound file is in the sound file section. Deeper sound.

Rickey, your welcome.
While it is hard to judge the quality of any call on a sound file, I can say that these box calls definitely sound great outdoors, especially when someone runs them about 75 yards away from you. Lonnie and many others here on Old Gobbler make great box calls. I will definitely be going back to visit with Lonnie soon.

You are 100% correct Terry. It is impossible to tell what a call sounds like from a soundfile made inside the house. I wish I had a way to record my calls outside. They sound totally different out in the open. I sure want to pay Lonnie a visit.
