Polishing a BPS barrel

Would polishing a BPS barrel improve the patterns like when done with 870's or 835's?  My BPS has never been deep cleaned or polished so I think it would be a good summer project.

Deep clean only. You should not have to polish the barrel on any Browning.

I tried it very carefully a couple years ago on my BPS. It made HTL loads pattern a little better, maybe 10% increase in pellet count. I think it was worth it in my case.

I only polish the chamber on my BPS', have to really, or the H-13 shells expand and bind up the action...

EM knows they use cheap brass, but they don't seem to care...

One of these days someone is going to knock EM off their little sweet home in Oregon by making a better product for less that $6 per shell...
