No update from the rehab place, hope to hear from them next week how he's doing. I did talk to Jimmy Schaffer who knows a lot more about bears than I do. He said that bear should have been at least twice that size and was either separated from mom for a while or a runt.

Now that's a cool find in the woods. You did a good thing there. Glad you used due caution looking for mom. Hope the little guy gets a chance to grow up and get back in the wilds soon.
