I am looking through youth models with her as she cannot hold my 12 gauge for more than 10 seconds and it kicks her bad. Which youth 20 gauge model pump is the most recommended. I think I need to do a pump since she is a lefty........

I have not held many, so I would suggest her picking some up.  I can tell you that the youth 870 with a trulock choke and Federal HW #7 will put 160s in the 10" at 40 yards.  I added some sights and a monopod for my daughter and it is a deadly little rig and light as a feather.  I put a limbsaver on it too and the kick does not bother her at all, even with the 3" Federals.  She is also 5'4"

Thanks for the quick reply she held several today and the mossberg 500 youth fit her great. I think the 870 would be fine especially with a recoil pad. Just seeing what the opinions are.

They will all kill, so you are wise to go with a good fit.  Then figure out the choke and you are gravy.

BPS micro would be my pick.  A bit heavier than the others but will be better for recoil and invector plus throws great patterns.

The extra weight plus the bottom ejection for a lefty make the BPS ideal. Way overbuilt. Awesome guns. Not having spent shell flying across shooters face is a big plus.

An Ithaca 37 with a youth stock would be great. Bottom eject, safety on the correct side, and a lightweight, good recoil pad.

Another vote for BPS. They are rock solid and one of my favorites.

Got her an 11-87 it fit well and eliminated my recoil concerns. What chokes and loads have been best? She is left handed but after reading that it shouldn't be an issue I went ahead and splurged.
