Longbeard Velocity change

I just noticed that all of my boxes of longbeards from last year say 1200 fps and all my new ones say 1050.
Do you think they made a change or just noticed they were.

No its not that. Every box I have from last year says 1200 regardless of length of shell, shot size or oz of shot. Same goes for this year yet its 1050.

No there are different payloads of the same length shell this year and those are rated different speeds. Last year one size payload per she'll length.

3" 1-7/8oz 1050

3.5" 2oz: 1200
3.5 2-1/8oz: 1050

I believe That is what is available this year last year it was just the two shells At 1200fps.

Yes, I did not buy any 2 oz. That was the confusion.

1/8th oz more shot in those. I got a box of 3" #6 that I am anxious to try.

Yes. They are offering 2 different loads this year in both 3" and 3.5" lengths.
