The only feathers that can get messed up are the tail feathers. The rest are glued solid. And yes I use a decoy bag. I used and carried a mounted strutter for several years. This decoy is way more water "proof" than that mount.

Sounds good... were I hunt I'm not crazy about a strutter decoy. Ive had gobblers hangs up out of range especially 2 year birds... 3 year old or better gobblers .....strutter may work. Do you have a lot of luck with a strutter?

Killed birds with spurs from. 3/4 to 1 3/8 with the strutter. Never have I had a bird hang up on one. Most of those birds are public land birds too. But I also don't use it every time I set up either. It is just another tool that I make sure I have with me.

Dang, that looks good! Make sure you "shoot 'em in the face" before he floggs the decoy and messes up your handi-work!  :icon_thumright:
