They're refillable after a slight modification. It's a bit of a pain if the aerosol butane can you buy has a tip that isn't compatible with the thermacell fitting but a little sanding on the tip will fix it. I've refilled two so far. No telling how many of those things I've tossed.

So in the video about the pads, he uses a brand new pad.  I assume min reality he would palce the drops ona  used pad correct?  After ir tunrs white?
