That happens at 25 yards when they are shooting correctly.

I would say it was the wad. I had the wad go through paper patterning steel shot at 40 yards with a light mod choke and Rio #3s.

That's what should happen at 25yds.

I just know there was a slug hole through the birds neck.  I just assumed the resin never shattered.
Can't kill'em from the couch!!!!

I killed one last year and put a hole like that right above the beard. Closer than 25 yds though. Killing turkey's with Lb's ,,the bottom line is allot of times your shooting a rifle inside 25 yds.
