I've been thinking of getting a bronzed glass call. What combination is best? Glass/glass, glass/slate or glass/wood?

A lot of other variables involved in that decision; call maker and their design, and the sound you're looking for, will likely have the biggest influence on your decision.  With my pot calls I prefer a slate or glass soundboard; I haven't played around much with wood soundboards but I know there are some call makers who use them almost exclusively and make great sounding calls.

I posted a soundfile of a redheart bronzed glass/glass in the soundfile section a few days ago if you'd like an idea of what my glass/glass sound like.

I would agree with the above ,,lots depends how maker designs a call mine the glass -glass run med. higher pitched sharp roll over with real nice rasp to it ,,, glass slate they still got a higher front but the roll over is not as sharp and got a deeper raspier  sound ,,, but on the later a tighter striker hold can make a difference when running glass slate ,,,, glass wood I have made a few but never realy dug in to them
Not taking orders for calls at this time ,,,but my have some on hand  ,,,I Dont sell strikers
I do like copper pot calls,,,,Get them While u can
