Shurshot stock for 1187 20 gauge

I don't need the forearm but will the stock from the bundled black Shurshot stock/forearm for an 870 20 gauge fit an 1187?  If it will I'm going to buy it for my 1187 and give the forearm to my brother for his son's 870 that currently has wood furniture.  I'll also be giving him my ATI collapsible stock for his 20/870.

I put the shur shot stock from an 870 on my 11-87 and the fit is perfect.  FYI, I did this with both 12 and 20 gauge and no issues.

I have a friend that does the hydro dipping - I just need to find a piece of film with Realtree Hardwoods camo to match the rest of my gun now.

You wont regret it, I had mine dipped to match my gun.  The shur shot is just perfect for a turkey gun.

I know it say deep woods but it is actually realtree hardwoods with a different name.

Here is a pic of realtree hardwoods. Compare the dark brown leaf at top right and the branches and background with the deep woods pic on the ebay listing.

Yep looks ver much the same. Film ordered and will be hydro dipping this stock as soon as the stock and film both arrive.

I just put a 870 shurshot on my Winchester SX3 20 gauge

1187 20 gauge finished and ready to shoot again over the weekend to dial the FF3 back in after camo dipping.  Here are before/after photos.  I dipped the saddle mount and the shurshot with a pattern and background base paint very very close to the original Realtree Hardwoods camo.

That looks great. Did you get an actual 20 guage stock or did you modify a 12 to fit it?

Bought the 20 gauge stock and forearm 870 kit - same stock for 870 and 1100/1187.  Gonna give the forearm (along with an old ATI collapsible stock we used on my son's 870 20 gauge) to my nephew for his 20 gauge 870.  The kit was cheaper than just the stock from Remington.
