I just take the wife to the gun shop and buy her one too. Somehow.. She always gets the better end of THAT deal. I get a new turkey gun and she gets a Kimber Ultra Carry 2.

Great plan an execution , she probably does the same with shoes and clothes and the such...

You bring up some excellent points:

1) path of least resistance avoid the argument and do what you want in your time, key here is " in your time"

2) always better to ask for forgiveness than permission when it comes to guns / bows and the guitars spend with the Miisses...
