Another post on the board  (How many shells do you carry)  Got me to thinking
How many and what states require a three shot plug during Turkey Season?

I bout always load three ,but it might keep me out of trouble some day.

Love to hunt the King of Spring!

I've got a "duck plug" in all my shotguns. Never take them out. Don't have to worry about forgetting them during waterfowl season. If I can't get it done in three tries, forget it.

I pretty much hunt Louisiana and Mississippi and I'm not sure so I plug mine.

No plug restrictions for turkey's in ark, but are required for waterfowl.

You need a plug in your shotgun in Washington.

Not in TN, plus with 3.5 inch Nitros I am too busy rolling over backwards after recoil to get a follow-up shot.

I just play it safe and leave the plug in my turkey guns. My 11-87 still has a dogwood limb in it. Had to make one quick when I realized it was required wherever I was at the time.

One shot ,one kill, only usually put 2 shells in, CT requires a plug 3 shells only

No plug in Mississippi- I understand the need for a plug when hunting waterfowl--- wonder what the rationale is for turkey hunting?
