Osage Yelper

Thought I would post a couple of pictures of a Yelper I was ask to make a while back and never got around to posting any pictures of.  Just before our spring season opened I had posted a picture of a call that I made for a member here (Dreis).  I was ask if I would be interested in making one identical to it but out of Osage Orange for another person who has a yellow addiction from what I hear!!  This Yelper has a long sleek look to it with the Mouth Piece, Ferrule and the adjustable Lip Stop all made of Buffalo Horn.  I dressed this call up a little for its new owner with some wood burning as the Osage takes a burn real nice.  On one side the call has a Turkey wing feather with a Tail Fan feather on the opposite side and a few turkey tracks running around the bell of the call.  I also added a 2 sets of Turkey Tracks running the length of the call on each side with one set being larger than the other to signify a hen walking down one side and a gobbler following her walking down the other side.   And to add to his yellow addiction I added an Osage Bead to the lanyard.
