For trade is a Lohman Thunderdome slate and striker. The aluminum back has one pinhead indention. Nice looking and sounding call. I would trade for a Dawkins aluminum or crystal, Supreme, Daybreak, Marrer segmented, or ????? No junk offers please.

You do know that a call like that new in the package sold for over $200 on Ebay a while back.

I know they are valuable. I have two of them and will keep one. I am looking for an upper end pot call for trade. If I get no offers I want I will keep it. I would also consider Pete Peters pot calls.

I had one years ago that I killed my first good turkey with it.  Those calls make the sweetest yelps & purrs of any call I've heard.  You should get a good trade for it.

Onpoint

Man I wish I had bought these when they were on clearance for $7.
What is it thst makes these calls so valuable?

eddie234

I've got one of those. They are valuable calls?

Mine is a bit worse for wear than that, but a great call.  Had no idea they were worth so much.

Wanna laugh. My brother had that call years ago and hated it.
So he through it down the hill. This is a saying at my camp because my camp is on the side of the hill.
Through the years when me, my dad or my brother would by into some gimmick call
and my dad would see or hear it he would say throw that thing down the hill.  If you were to.rummage my hillside you could find
a whole bunch of gimmick calls. Lohmann pump yelper, knight and hale lonesome hens just to name a few.
as well as my brothers thunder dome. May not seam as funny to u guys but im sitting here remembering the first time dad tossed a call down the hill.

Guess I better see which one I have at home as well. Been laying around in the shop for awhile, with the original striker
