Missouri Bird
April 25, 2014, 05:03:25 PM
Well I'm done turkey hunting for 2014. I got this bird yesterday in Missouri. So I'm tagged out in Kansas and I won't be back to Missouri again this season. I hate you can only kill one bird in Missouri the first week. I'm thrilled with him.
26 lbs, 11 inch beard and 1.25 inch spurs.

That's a dandy.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".

Thanks everyone. I had an unprecedented, for me, streak this year. I killed birds on 3 straight hunts.

Nice bird, congrats!
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

Nice one!
I love golf. It keeps a lot of people out of the turkey woods.
