Most of the birds I kill are easterns, hunted 30 years to get a set of 1.5 spurs, have a bunch of 1 1/4 and 1 3/8. The next bird I have mounted will have to be over 1 1/2.
Don't gobble at me...

Everyone has different standards. Just set some you would be happy with. My only suggestion is if you do decide to get 1 mounted get someone that does good work don't just pick someone because they are the cheapest just like about everything else you get what you pay for. Nothing worse than getting something back that looks like crap lol.

lol ....sore subject in my house..I have 8 turkey mounts....I'm out of room...If I had the room I'd get another..Everything from strutting on a limb, flying, gobbling on a limb, half strut, breast mount..etc..The ole lady threatened to leave if I even mention another mount...Problem I have is every bird is a trophy to me. I got it bad.

I have a few fan mounts but my only full mount which wasn't my biggest I had mounted because it had special meaning it was the first bird I called in by myself the others I killed either my father in law or cousin called them in for me but that one bird gave me a since of accomplishment and confidence that I can do this by myself that's why he's on the the wall plus set me back 575$ my next mount will be a double beard if I'm blessed enough to have a chance to harvest one

I mounted my 1st double bearded bird(half body mount)
the next one will have to be a monster with some hooks
it's not the harvest,it's the chase
