Kansas birds down

We had a great hunt the last three days. Birds still bunched up but good hunting. First bird was roosted and pitched down. Came right in. Second bird caught glimpse of crossing field with 4 hens and a jake. Worked him in close.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Looks like the Model 37 did the job!
Congrats....I'm 0 for 3 hunts so far....first two tons of gobbling....on wrong side of deep creeks, ground I can't hunt on.
# 3...set up close to where they roosted day before...they moved about a mile to neighbors.
My time is coming though!
