I got this Gobbler this morning on Cherokee Trust land here in Oklahoma. 3 beards 11.25, 6.75, 2.25, 20lbs 10 oz, and both spurs are 1" Walked about a mile deep to get to where he was. I set up across the hollow from where he was roosted at 6:42 and he pitched across to my ridge when he flew down at and walked up the hill into a load of #6 Longbeards at 6:52 Then a long walk back to the truck.... Oh Yeah those longbeards will kill a turkey at 39 steps...

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Congrats!
Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
